For buyers

How to Buy

Three phases, plainly stated. If anything is unclear on sale day, call the office.

01

Before

  • Create a bidder account and verify a card.
  • Read the catalog and note the lots you want.
  • Call the consignor with questions — numbers are on every lot page.

02

Sale Day

  • Lots close in order beginning in the evening, Central time.
  • Bid live or leave a max bid and let the system bid for you.
  • Bidding on a lot extends until the bidding stops.

03

After the Hammer

  • The office contacts you with settlement instructions.
  • Papers and a signed transfer follow payment in full.
  • Arrange transport directly with the consignor or a hauler.
Card verification

Why we verify

Every bidder verifies a card before the sale opens. The card is not charged to register — it confirms the person bidding is real. Verified bidding is what keeps the sale honest for consignors and keeps the pace clean for buyers.

Max bids

Set it and step away

Enter the most you are willing to pay. The system bids on your behalf in increments, never more than it has to, and stops at your number. You are not obligated past it, and no one sees it.

Transport

Getting the horse home

Horses stay with their consignor until settlement clears. We can put you in touch with haulers who run the major routes out of Texas and Oklahoma; the arrangement and cost are between you and the hauler.
